You should have to actually role-play with your troops often to actually keep them on your side. If you neglect them, the easier it would be for someone else to convince those troops to switch sides.

There should also be a feature where you can buy out the roundtime for troops. Not erase it completely, but an attribute called "orgainzation" or something of that sort to have them move to another location in unity to cutdown roundtime by half or more. Who really wants to 275 seconds to move again?

How often does the president interact with his miltary?

Ehh... I'd rather rp with actual people than to start being required to rp with your own npc troops.
